Neocracker gave me a great idea. If you're having problems finding a place to upload your stuff, email them to me and I'll upload them on youtub. Otherwise I'll see if I can work something out with someone with webspace (hint hint y'all)
If you need uploading to webspace ya know I'll happily host em for ya

Foa doesn't need to prove she's awesome.

Unfortunately, I did not have time to complete a submission for this contest. I think I'll post an MP3 of my work sometime, at the very least, though.

Myself and Flailing Mollusc everyone that has yet to send in an enrty to the Karaoke to find some nice background music and perform a dramatic reading of this poem for a submission.

Hey, I got a few questions for people who have already submitted something. What do you use to record the songs? Do you just record your song without any music, or do you record it with the music? And if you are recording with the music, how do you do it? What program do you use?

Karaoke CD+G Creator - Allows you to remove vocals from a song and save it as a seperate .wav file
Audacity - Freeware(!) mixing studio that allows you to record multiple channels, manually edit tracks by moving stuff around/deleting sections etc. and export the whole thing as a single MP3. I actually used this to give myself backing vocals on one song.

Thanks for the suggestion. Gonna go download that for some last minute karaoke recordings.

    Fear the French-Canadian accent, yo.

Edit: Or not. My microphone was working earlier, and then I probably deactivated something when trying to adjust the volume in my computer and now the microphone doesn't work anymore, and the volume control disappeared from my menu bar and I don't know how to put it back there because I'm computer illiterate. *sighs* Oh well.

Go to the Start Menu -> Programs -> Accessories -> Entertainment -> Volume Control. You may need to click the double down arrows near the bottom of the window to show all the available folders and programs available.
