I don't understand why it -needs- one.
There's like one FF12:RW thread for every 4 or 5 FF12 threads. And then for the most part, they get like 12 posts. Even one just has one post and is just fading to the bottom.
As for comparing it to FFVII's sub-forums. They atleast had points of mass popularity, granted they went down (as I pointed out when I made the thread to make FFVII as it is now) but FF12:RW -clearly- doesn't have the fan basis, nor alot to talk about aparently.
So no, I don't think it needs a forum.
If anything, maybe just a sticky thread that's generally about FF12:RW or just let it happen as it is.
As for cluttering the FF12 forum. Dude, do they -really- bother you that much? Regardless as much as anyone doesn't want to admit it, it is still an FF12 game.
I look at it this way, if FFX-2 is more popular than any other sequel/prequel (due to forum activity) and the given game isn't that popular to begin with, then it doesn't need it's own forum or sub-forum, just a sticky thread at the most.

The game itself is not bad at all. It's just there wasn't enough marketing hype for this game to have its own forum. Try the game out at least
