You were so right, but it turns out it didn't matter because *~Celes~* basically didn't even use her role for some reason.

It would just say:

qwertyxsora was killed!

Silly it could have made false connections. Say miriel had used her day kill and then kari used her janitor skill and killed paul. No one would know his role and they'd be suspecting everyone he had cleared. That's powerful.

Why would they suspect people he had cleared, when obviously the lack of a role reveal means he was hit by a mafia janitor, therefore not mafia?

Yeah, I tried looking up some games on other forums where the Janitor role was in play, and I still couldn't really figure out the best way for the role to be used, especially considering that the Mafia janitor was only given one opportunity to use the cleaning up ability. Not saying that it's not useful or beneficial, but it's a hard role to try and use to the best of its ability.

And yes, exactly what Lekana says about connections, especially with regards to a two mafia game. It's especially powerful if the ability works for lynches, and technically there is no reason why it shouldn't. Cop, Janitor, Assassin and Recruiter are the Mafia Big Four in my opinion, and this lot had 'em all.

Also I'd hardly call two people half the town.

Not everyone knows what a janitor is. It's eoff, not like every player looks at the flash all the time. They wouldn't be able to pinpoint it right away. With someone like paul coming up dead and all his suspect lists would be looked at and all his clear list would be looked at. If you were cleared wouldn't you go for a kill since suspicion was off you? Some would think this. They'd jump to conclusions and lynch people cause of his connections. THAT'S how it's a powerful role. It causes confusion.

I didn't know it worked for lynches, and could be used infinitely. I guess Celes just didn't play it right. Why they wouldn't want to mop up every kill is beyond me.

Also I can't see why Assassin is so good. Do you even know all the ins and outs of the setup?
