I always figured the circle of life to be one's death resulting in the fertility of a plant, that a certain animal will eat. Then, something will either eat that animal, or that animal will die, and their corpse will act as fertility to a plant, that a certain animal will eat. Then, something will either eat that animal, or the animal will die, and their corpse will act as fertility to a plant, that a certain animal will eat.

Reincarnation is more or less, something that is "you" (soul or w/e you want to call it) is reborn as another being after you pass away. In most religious context, it is stuck in the perpetual cycle of death and rebirth and the goal is often the cessation of rebirths.
