trouble with tonberry in Ipsen's castle [solved]
Hey how do you kill 3 tonberrys fast enough in Ipsen's castle before each of them knocks out random party member with 9999 knife and disappears shortly afterwards? Or defeating them is pointless and I should flee instead?
- update - I forgot to try thievery skill! (I was surprised to see that Steiner ability "shock" did very little damage against Tonberry and so didn't try out other party members skills)

What weapons are you using? Don't forget to go right down to the original crappy weapons in Ipsen's Castle. It's all topsy turvy.
I figured out this then I opened the treasure chest with dagger inside. However I couldn't kill them fast enough still. Anyway it appears Zidane's skill thievery does the job well.Originally Posted by Harle-Quin
