Our lovely little Eyes on Final Fantasy message board is dominated by the male persuasion. The only thing bigger than my love for Grindeldore and Barack Obama's jovial smile is the amount of guys we have on Eyes on Final Fantasy, so you can see how big of a feat it is to win the Best Male award! To be nominated for such a thing is something you should be so proud of you! And gosh, I was to proud to write this! Look at my jovial little mug writing this speech that was totally not someone's yearbook.



Check out our nominees, and please don’t be surprised if Rye gets a little sentimental, because some of these dudes are good friends of mine. <3

First off, we have Big D, the magical kiwi of Eyes on Final Fantasy. I've known D for many years, and he's always been a very genuine and helpful person. He's wicked helpful in EoEo and the technical forums and is always contributing any knowledge he has to help people out, and that makes him a really cool guy. I've always wondered what his accent is like, I'm sure it's brilliant.

Flying Mullet is next up. Mullet has been an active member for as long as I can remember. He's always ready to make a good joke, or contribute one of his awesome EoFF games to give us a good time. Good things come to good people, I suppose, because he's recently won the Eyes on Final Fantasy Cid Knight Competition, and is our newest addition to the shinra. He's a great guy to chat with and to share naughty Harry Potter slashfic with, and his pictures of his triathalons and diving are wicked awesome.

Loony BoB, though currently situated in Scotland with his main squeeze, is a true kiwi at heart. BoB is one of those people who like to just start things, and I have a lot of memories of Battle of the Britneys, his pooms about licking himself and others, that whole situation of him rubbing his big hunk of “wood” chat log that my Dad found once on my computer that almost got me kicked off the tubes forever! Oh BoB, I don’t think any of us could ever forget you and the pictures of you naked on the EoFF porn site. <3

Oh, Momiji. I remember you back when you were innocent little Poetically Pathetic. Whenever we talk, I’m just shocked by the debauchery you’ve committed. Seriously guys, he’s not that innocent! Just really bashful! Momiji is a really loyal guy to his friends both on and off the board, and that’s something I totally admire. He’s also a really great poet too, as well as a little wee-a-boo. Oh Justin!

Ouch! Why did you break my heart like that? Because you’re a totally Abercrombie & Fitch model heartbreaker look-alike, that’s why! Zach (never call him Zack FOR GOD’S SAKE!) is a really good-natured guy, who loves to chat EoFFers up on MSN. He’s a great listener, and he contributes a lot to EoFF nowadays. He also has one of the best EoFF usernames ever! Never change it, Zach.

Rantzien is one of those people who need their own bunch of movies, like Jim Carrey. He has a million funny faces, and he’s not afraid to show them. He’s so funny and outgoing, and he’s a great contributor to EoFF as of late. He's very polite and positive as well, which means that he's someone to take home to mother (lucky you, Keith and Cz-chan!) I dare say that he’s a new rising star of the message boards, and a lot of eyes are on him and his freaky turkey thing sig.

Roto13 is one of the sweetest guys I know, despite his sarcastic and wise-cracking nature on the message boards. Though we all love him for that, what a funny guy. He’s a total teddy bear when it comes to people he cares about, and he’s very loyal. I love how he stands up for what he believes in and for who he is. Roto and his husband, Dilcio, are one of the few examples I can think of, of what I think is true love in this day and age. <3

Levian, our resident Norwegian midget and ex-CK, is one of the funniest people I know. I have a lot of great memories of being taught questionable Norwegian (Vanijlabaesj <3) and comparing geographical shapes to male anatomy with him on MSN. He's always on the bright side on the forum, telling his grape detective grocery job stories and posting those cheesy smiling pictures that make Paul pitch a tent in secret. I suppose you have to keep positive all the time though, when you have people like Dan ripping on you for being the size of a kumquat. Stay gold, Levian.

Psychotic! Paul has been one of my best and closest friends for years and years. There’s no one quite like him. From back in the day when he made BAoTW (All of the memories I had from that!), to being a CK for EoFF, he’s been a fantastically unique, hilarious guy. He’s also a great leader, and in general, an amazing friend and listener. Psychotic is one of those people who always makes something more fun. I know he has the support of everyone on the Ivory Coast to win this Ciddie!

Wow! I started reading this thread when it was at 700 posts and now it's over 1100! Congrats to everyone on their wins (except for Shlup for winning Evilest ), especially Del Murder for the Highwind and Best Admin. Definitely deserved wins.
