I hate Zidanes stupid clothes
I think vivi is like kenny from south park and yes maybe one day we'll see his face
I think Steiner looked more like a stupid knight more then a great powerful knight (like beatrex)
I hated Daggers orange overalls it made me not wanna play the game.
I dislike how short eiko is
I don't even think Freya was wearing armor me and my friend called in a rain coat with an umbrella for a hate.
as for quina she was way to fat and should have been killed a few times for being a stupid cook.

On another note it was different (sometimes) to see FF old looks in 3d. Plus I liked the guy in the dreads. But they could have showed his face more.

well somebody's biased......towards FF8 i presume. and friends!? i assumed people who dislike that many things had no friends, i still could be right though! There was nothing wrong with any of the characters clothes. infact i garantee their clothes are a must have compared to your "real" clothes then again you probably "Hate" them too.

I liked most of the final fantasy clothes VII through XII cause I through VI isn't to detailed. IX just had I don't know... cheap looking old fashion clothes. I meant what I said, I don't like, I hate ffix's clothes.

I really like their clothes, they all look different to each other which is good so they stand out, and its colourful so it looks nice

I think one of the only things that bug me about any of the outfits is that Zidane has, like, feathers or something in his gloves. Damn, that must get itchy...

Other than that, Zidane has one of my favorite costumes in the series, as do Freya and Vivi. Steiner's was alright too, and I liked Quina's a lot. For some reason Amarant's bugs the hell out of me. It looks so plain, he has, like, two afros in one, blue skin for no reason, and his little goatee thing looks really dumb. Garnet's is okay and I guess I'm one of the only people who never thought Eiko was half-naked... Although I did think Rikku in FFX was when she's first introduced in Baaj Temple...

Dagger's standard outfit reminds me of Celes' outfit in her FF VI artwork. :P

I thought the costumes were ok. Once you figure out that a lot of them are throwbacks to older games, it's kinda neat to see if you can recognize more of it. :P

Agreed about Beatrix, her's was one of my favourite designs in the game.

Overall, I like the aesthetic of FFIX's main characters. Quina bugs me, though - the Qu live in swamps, yet they wear human-style aprons and chef hats, which remain white and clean throughout. Something of an inconsistency, in my opinion. I know it reflects their love of food and cooking, but it's pretty silly considering where they live most of the time.

True Big D, but somehow I just don't see the art of the Qu being as appealing if they were covered in mud all the time. I think it'd make them less bright and less passionate as characters in the game. That's just me, though.

I think the art direction, especially the costume designs, are absolutely brilliant in FFIX. I especially like the fashion in Trento.
