Actually, Jigglypuff's name in Japanese is プリン (Purin) -- which means pudding or custard.

Jigglypuff would be pudding.

Me and Daniel used to play Pokémon Pearl all the time. It's quite sad I remember the stories after like a year from playing it. I had the Chimchar Pokémon called Destiny.
