So....I got this little e-mail saying "Happy Birthday" from the EoFF forums.
I'd totally forgot I was even a member. I checked and I've been a member since '02, but haven't been active since '03. It got me thinking about how many forums I might be a member too, but have forgotten about. I forgot about the good people here, so I'll start posting again during spare moments.

What's the longest someone has been in-active on this thing? Maybe I set a record.....

There's no way you could have set a record, because you came back, thus breaking your streak. I'm sure there are people who have been inactive almost since the forum was created (December 5th, 1999 amirite?) and haven't come back.

what took you so long?

I was busy with my full time job being an insensitive jackass(like the mule! don't jump me mods!

). The pay isn't great, but talk about stress free.
