Jin Dobrieh [now with pictures]
Greetings and salutations good people of EoFF (the title of the thread is actually good day in Polish, if I spelt it correct that is, I have trouble spelling this language out and speaking it too). I bring greetings from cloudy Leszno in Poland I am having good fun, it is quite warm but cloudy outside and there appears to be a good deal of flooding going on west of here towards the German border.
I've just returned from the city of Poznan which is where the local airport is for my flight home too. Poznan is really quite cool and absoloutely ancient, later I will come back to post some pictures of the town because it was fantastic in the rustic sense. The old market square is just quite frankly one of those places that makes you think "wow" because every building is decorated differently but not just the actual colours ect but the very buildings are different from how they end at the top to the freezes and depictions in the masonry. This combined with the rustic style of the square makes for a very beautiful place. The reason for my trip to Poznan was my girlfriend's uncle Marek got married, Catholic weddings are very serious business it seems and so I was fully expected to cross myself properly and stand/kneel at all the right times in the church I don't believe in God myself but I know how to be respectful of others cultures. The wedding was great I had a really good time at it and maybe some of the pictures of me at the wedding can make it on to this site too...maybe depends on if you're lucky. The food and party at this wedding were a lot smaller in size and quantity (respectively ofcourse) than the previous polish wedding I went to but in a way for me the wedding was better with a live jazz/blues/lounge music band complete with a singer ect and fewer but very, very tastey food dishes such as rare beef with a cherry sauce hmmmm so good you won't believe.
So yes I will try to post pictures soon, depends on when I'm next online and also when I can access the pictures (our camera is pretty rubbish and won't let me remove files until after I've recharged the batterries)
So for a topic the rest of you can comment on, where is the furthest away from home you've ever posted on EoFF from?

I might have posted from Gran Canaria when I was there, but I'm not sure. If not, probably Barcelona.

I guess Florida. My homes are alternately in Arkansas and Ohio so I guess I shouldn't really count either of those.

Washington or Oregon I think, maybe Calgary or Edmonton. Furthest I've been from home (New York) in a while where I've had internet access. I don't remember exactly since the WA/OR trip was at least 2 years ago, and Alberta was in 2002.

I can't remember if I posted on EoFF when I was in Calgary, but if I did then there. If not, then it's probably the PC next to me.
