Before we get to the results, let's re-introduce our finalists.

First off, we have our Ivalice Bracket Champion, Balthier of Final Fantasy XII.

His challenger is the FOXHOUND Bracket Champion, the star of the Metal Gear Solid series, Solid Snake!

Two distinctively different hot dudes with opposite styles. One has the clean-shaven boyish look, and the other a rugged look that still makes him look good. (Plus the fact that Snake can make a mullet look good!) So who came out on top as hottest guy of gaming?

It was quite close, but one was a few votes short of victory. With a tally of 8 votes to 5, the winner of the Hottest Guy of Gaming Tournament goes to...

Balthier!

Congrats to the sky pirate for winning, and making this another victory for a Final Fantasy character and becoming the first winner of the title for hottest gaming guy.

Now that we have a winner, what do you think? Does he deserve the title or not?

They both deserved to win really, but since I voted for Balthier I'm glad he won. Also, it's kinda cool and suitable that FF characters won both of the hotness competitions.

voted for snake because he's a more real character than balthier i guess
but it sucks because i have crushes on both of them
it was a difficult choice
i decided to go with the one i expected to be the underdog and i was right

The easiest way for me to pick was to think - who would I rather look like? The answer, quite easily, was Balthier. He's clean, sharp and charming. He also has the ability to lay down the "wanna ride in my airship?" card, while all Snake has to offer is hiding in the tall grass (though that's not always bad

)

I support the win, but I think the contest was dead on right the way through.
