Look where I visited yesterday!

What is your opinion of modern art!? I think this head thing is a load of rubbish which cost my town a lot of money to make, but which to me looks horribly out of proportion and completely useless!

It's meant to look like she's staring dreamily into the distance but the lads I were with kept saying it looked like a dildo. It's really high up, so when you drive past you can just see it through all the trees.

Glasgow has a Gallery of Modern Art. There's an ~~awesome~~ awful exhibit there about the gay/lesbian/bisexual/transexual community. I don't really know what they were trying to do with it, since there's a ton of pictures of just... people doing nothing. And then there's some porn... Oh, and the penis/vagina tree. Only reason I even went to see this was because it was in the papers - some teachers had taken kids to this exhibit, and were thoroughly angry at the GoMA because of the explicit content. My friend and I decided we had to go see how bad it was.

I don't like modern art much. What I've seen of it is fairly lame. D:

I don't know what art produced today is called, but I know it's not modern art. Modern art ended a couple of decades ago

So I love a lot of it, like the stuff that came out of the Bauhaus school, and Warhol's Campbell's Soup Cans, etc.

I went to a modern art gallery in France once. To this day I've never seen such pretentious uninspired twaddle as I did walking through those exhibits. One 'art' was a huge canvas painted in plain white. And people were paying for it.

I go to an Art school so go figure......

However for moment I thought Zeldy photoshopped an inappropriate pic of elongated male genitalia and a woman's head!
