Last night: Poltergeist

Had some pretty crazy special effects. The plot was pretty interesting too, but had a little too much of the religious paranormal. I had a dream about Cuesta Verde this morning xD

Tonight: Cat on a Hot Tin Roof
Pretty interesting southern drama~

Forrest Gump - why hadn't I seen this yet? I thought it'd be overrated but it really, really wasn't. Great film. Really amazing.

Zombieland

Has to be my new favorite movie at the moment if not of all time.
Sounds like an exaggeration, but that movie is definitely up there.
Go see it now.

Zombieland. It was so freaking awesome, but way too short!

P.S. I Love You.

I actually thought it was quite sweet. It had some nice moments, and I liked the romantic storyline. I'm such a woman xD

Lisa Kudrow was funny.

I really only saw it for Toni Collette, and even though she wasn't in it that much, she was still the best part of the movie for me.
Um, yeaaah. This was interesting to say the most...

Towelhead

I thought the scenes between the main character, Jasira and Travis played by Aaron Eckart were tough to watch. It made me feel very uncomfortable. I'm not entirely sure where this movie was going. Was it trying to depict childhood promiscuity like in Kids, or was it going some where else? I thought Peter Macdissi, who played Jasira's father, was pretty good. He made me dislike him almost as much as Jasira did. The dialogue in this film is just awkward; especially between Jasira and Thomas. Strong performances saved an otherwise odd and unclear story. Everything else in the film is too mundane to discuss imo.

i initially thought that the oldboy ending was stupid and that it was just an afterthought by the writer
but the more i thought about it the more i realized that was only because it made me uncomfortable
i kind of want to see lady vengeance and the other one but i dunno if i'll be ok after

Big Mamma's House 2 or whatever it's called.

It's a wonderful family romp! Humour is all crude but in the taste of fun!

I can't help but brag about how perfect the song choice was for Mamma running on the beach.

Paranormal Activity. Unfortunately I watched the trailer beforehand, and it spoils all but about one good scene. It's kind of good, and has some genuinely scary parts, but overall mostly exemplifies how widely misunderstood the genius of the Blair Witch Project still is.

Barry Lyndon. Painstaking and intense. A masterpiece of film.
