Shutter Island

A good film. Not as twisty as the director thinks it is (every next step is pretty obvious), and you already know what the major twist will be about 10 minutes in. Nonetheless the journey there was good fun and very interesting. Whoever did the music, however, needs to be shot in the face. And I genuinely mean that. It was hideous and almost ruined the film.

Kickass (I watched this twice in two days)

Yeah. Watch this film. Watch it now. Stop reading these ty little reviews and go out and watch the bloody film. It's smurfing perfect.

Those are movies that I paid to watch. My friends and I usually sneak into a second movie, however, to get back at the extortionate cinema. It's awesome. The films we snuck into are thus:

Clash of the Titans

THERE IS NO CLASHING OF ANY TITANS IN THIS FILM. The mythology is false, but they said that it wasn't based off the mythology and that they just took some names out and made whatever the hell they wanted, so you can't fault them that. The acting was bad. The action was average. The script and the entire plot was average. Anyone who can figure out what the smurf Perseus' accent was supposed to be actually wins the universe. Overall, it's an extremely average crappy action film. I wouldn't pay to watch it, but I didn't so it's cool and I could watch through the whole film.

The same cannot be said for The Bounty Hunter.

I honestly can't think of words to describe what an awful film this is. We walked out 20 minutes in because it was absolutely terrible in every way possible. It's so bad that I WOULDN'T WATCH IT FOR FREE. Seriously. Eurgh, it's just awful.
