Title for story.
Inspired by Shiny's success, I thought I'd ask here too. When I was little, I read a short story (I think for school). It was quite creepy and scary at the time. It was set in some foreign Germanic country, I think, and there was a kid who had (I think) died. This kid's dad then commissioned a clockwork version of the kid to be made.
Unfortunately, time has degraded my memory and I can't really remember anything else about it. I imagine there can't be too many stories with clockwork boys in them though. But I'd really like to know what the story was, as I'd quite fancy reading it again to see if it's as good as I remember. Cheers for any help.
