I may have to go with this actually. I've been in love with the idea of a house with windows for walls for a few years now, in part because I hate being trapped inside a house all of the time when outside is so much nicer. Just never really knew what to do about the privacy issue, because sometimes you really want a window to actually be a wall instead, and I'm not sure they make wall-sized blinds.
