Eyyyyyyyyyyyyy
Every post I've made in this thread has been a joke. But I did start playing Dark Souls recently, so I'm not sure where that leaves me.
I've created a monster
Dark Souls Character Planner
Sunlight Blade + Power Within = 600 damage on a full Havel's with a 1-handed R1... using a curved sword :0

After beating the spider witch, it's time to take on Sen's Fortress! No idea who Sen is, but his fortress don't seem that hard
This twenty-year-old boy was distinguished from childhood by strange qualities, a dreamer and an eccentric. A girl fell in love with him, and he went and sold her to a brothel...
Have fun out there, it's one of my favourite areas
Caestus only challenge update:
(SPOILER)
Picking up after Quelaag I beat the Moonlight Butterfly, Sif and Pinwheel. None of them were that much of a challenge, although Pinwheel managed to fry me once. I think that was the first time I died on Pinwheel. The damage output of the Caestus was so low he managed to multiply himself to about 7 of em or so. Got ganked After that I went in with a charcoal resin + Power Within and he was toast.
Sif wasn't hard at all, it just took ages.
I totally forgot to make a Fire Caestus, but heck, we'll just roll with the +10. 3 hours on the clock and Sen's is up next, but first I'll stock up some charcoal/poison resins to punch Ornstein and Smough to death with.
So when I first got the game I was happy to accept that the charges of "artificial difficulty" were bulltrout, but now that I'm in Anor Londo I can safely say that this game contains some of the most unfun bulltrout I've seen for three or four generations.
Trying to cross the rooftops with the two guys wielding high powered bows?
first time was pretty bad
tried that part like 20-30 times no joke
ng+ i just ran up and kicked the guy off cause i mean whatever
Yeah, the Anor Londo archers are one of the worst moments in the game. At least the first time through. They become easier once you realise that it's better to roll through the arrows than blocking them, and get a hang of the parry-time for the silver knight you have to get past once it picks up the sword instead.
Also: I've been playing the DLC. Only that big, badass black dragon left. My second character turned out as a Dex/Int Great Scythe-user.
Anor Londo archers used to piss me off. Now, careful timing... knowledge of where they cant hit double team mean, and MAD PARRYING SKILLS are all I need to take it down in 1 try.
Used to take me SO MANY tries in the past. Rage worthy.
But I will agree, that part is absolutely ridiculous. Even getting past the initial mini-gargoyles can be a pain in the ass.
Eyyyyyyyyyyyyy
Ahaha I like that everyone knows exactly where I mean. Yeah every now and then I'll smurf up and get done in by the sentinels or the lightning lickers so I lose all my souls gathered from my repeated efforts to pass those guys.
Edit: Of course after bitching I just did it on my second try today.
