Am I white? I disagree

I'm involved in an argument with Dignified Pauper. I insist that I am not white but I enjoy all of the privileges of being white and male, and he's giving every excuse in the book to explain why I'm white and male and straight, and thus more privileged than he:

- I do not get treated like a minority
- people do not feel threatened with me around
- I am afforded the privileges of white people who are straight / male

I argued that I lack white liberal guilt, but he said that since Obama has white liberal guilt, it is not a strictly white phenomenon. I would copy /paste parts of our conversation but I call him swear words many times in rebuttal, so I won't

wait, I can just copy:

PG: black people like me. Do black people like whites? no. Therefore I'm not white

DP: are you black? no. are you latino? no. are you white? yes.

Well I did meet a lot of white AMERICAN (and therefore racist) parents and the like when I last went to USA and none of them murdered me.

So I guess I enjoy white privilege without being white.
