Why do you get up in the morning?

I'm probably going to get a bunch of 'because of my alarm clock' answers (or different variations of that), but regardless:

Why do you get up in the morning? What keeps you going? What are you living for?

You can be as simple or as philosophical as possible.

For me, I'm sure a lot of it could be attributed to me just living for the sake of living, but the two main driving forces in my life are spending time with my very, very close friends, and the pipe dream that I could (after finishing my degree and making some money off of it) end up with a career that I want.

One of these things is not like the other

I get up 5/7 days of the week in order to be able to sleep in longer in the bed the other 2/7 days of the weeks, and so that I still have a bed.

On the 2/7 days, I get up because as comfortable as my bed is, I love to experience the life that is beyond work

because the chicken cant' fry itself, the meat and cheese can't slice itself, and the cookies and pastries can't bake themselves. Alternatively, I have a very handsome face to wake up to and kiss, as well as a growing person who kicks in rapid succession if i do not feed in a timely fashion!
