Browser Tabs

I average probably 30-40 at a time that I just leave open. It'll go up or down depending on if I've read what they contain and see fit to end their meager existence. I browse all forums in new tabs, and close them when I'm done typically. Same goes for news stories as I generally dislike the constant loading of using the back button. I also despise using bookmarks because I either have to open a bookmark menu and find the one I want or leave it open all of the time and I refuse to waste the screen space on it. Tabs are simply faster and easier.

However many I can fit before they start shrinking to fit the screen. That bugs me. But at work I use Opera and the tabs stack so I can have that many tabs squared! I wish other browsers had stacking tabs

When I'm reading up new posts in EoFF, I can have as many as 20 open. Same when I'm internet shopping.

Other times...maybe 3 or 4.

What is wrong with you neophytes! I've got one tab open for EoFF ever! Unless checking a link out. I have 6 tabs open total one of which really I could just fire thunderbird up for instead (gmail). Two will close once I watch the video link contained within the second tab or the tab with the video will be closed and the other re-purposed.

Huxley, how do you function on the internet with less than five tabs open? Something is wrong with you.

I have eight tabs open. I do not discriminate with tab limits.

First of all, it's "fewer", not "less".

Second of all, because I can just sit and look at one page that I want to look at, then I move on to the next one. This is not a difficult concept?

I leave tabs open for later review, if I don't have time to check it out at the moment.

And then sometimes people close them.

I just counted the number of tabs I have open and holy trout was I way off. At this moment, not counting the tab I opened for this thread which I will close once I finish this post, I have 160 tabs open.
