^ Me, too, and not only how each character has development but how character relationships have development. Hope and Snow have problems to work out. Lightning watches Hope become a hateful person and it softens herself. Then you have Sazh and Vanille and how it turns out (SPOILER)she was the one who infected Daj.

I'm not sure any other game in the series did so many character relationship arcs. This is why I was the opposite of most people - my enjoyment of the game went down a little bit after Gran Pulse, because this all kinda stopped once the party was together.

It was still a good story with some really well developed characters.
