Episode 5: The Journey Forward

While Hux may have passed, Shorty and Quin got pretty banged up that last battle too. So we need to stop and rest to recover our spells.

*Dragon Quest sleep jingle* Well, I sure hope nothing bad happens.

Oh trout.

Jiro manages to kill both of them pretty quickly. Jiro, man, he's insane. Here's a tip: Elf bow-users with high Dexterity are killer in this game. Kivan and Coran are excellent NPC's if you're going solo to fit this role.

Shorty heals us up with her spells and we approach Nashkel, the city with the iron shortage.

This guy is a douchebag. Just wanted to point that out.

And we arrive late for Nashkel. We decide to hit up the inn for a night's sleep because the party was beginning to get a bit sleepy.

Who is this fine lady to greet us? Oh, is she approaching Pike?

Apparently even the ladies aren't immune to Pike's charms, so she approaches her give this warning. Uh oh.

This chick seems to be a cleric, because she casts debuffs and stauses on the party, making her the hardest assassin yet.

Quin scores a good hit on her, but she then manages to Hold Person on Quin and Pike, making them (even more) useless.

The key is to spread out the party so her spells' Area of Effect can't spead past them. Jiro and I shoot her while Tifa's Boobs and Shorty (still with no weapon) engaged her in melee.

And down she goes. Tifa's Boobs manages to fell her before she got that last spell cast, which was awesome because a few more moments and something bad would've happen. She's a keeper.

I then take the entire party back to The Friendly Arm Inn to turn in the quest for clearing out the spiders. It was a long trip.

Oh my god. This bitch is blocking the way. There is literally no way up. OH MY GOD.

Shut up, I need to go upstairs!

So after like, two minutes, the old wench moves and we head back upstairs and turn in the quest. From there, we have three options.

A) Go back to Nashkel and clear out the mines.
B) Head to the Carnival for a few minutes of fun.
C) Go out and explore the wilderness to level.

It's up to you what we do next. Vote!
