Episode 6: La Carnivale

Time to depart for the Carnival! What could possibly go wrong?

Oh yay! I'm so excited.

Oh well, that not too bad.

Well, that's not too bad, they only fell the three most useful characters in the party in two rounds. Not too big of a deal.

And Pike. Well, who needs a mage?

Or a thief? And now all I got is Quin? Is this some sort of cosmic vendetta being played against me?

Well, that didn't go well.

After a quick reload, we managed to reach the Carnival and kill a few Kobolds. Yay, carnival time!

After some shopping(!), we entered a tent and found this going on. Dearest me!

Pike knows what it's like to be a mage, so she pipes and starts a fight because she has no idea what she's getting into.

smurf. He casts Mirror Image immediately, so we'll have to take him down as fast as we possibly can.

He proceeds to cast Panic, affecting everyone but Jiro. Is he awesome or what!? He also manages to pull off a few shots and hit him. Seriously, you can solo him.

We manage to penetrate (heh) through his copies, and now it's just a matter of time. Hope he doesn't pull off anymore spells anytime soon.

Hell yes and he goes down! Despite the lack of damage dealt, we were constantly teetering on the edge of disaster. If he managed to pull off too many spells (like, two) someone would die. Thankfully, my Bard Song managed to contribute to the successful hit rate, and Pike's spells managed to cancel some of his. (Another reason why ALL MAGES should have Magic Missile, it can cancel spells.)

Well Quin, at least you're not cheap. :/

And we got this cool little thing! We'll definitely used this during the next boss battle. In addition, we got some new spells for Pike as well as a robe for her. Pike definitely benefited from this battle.
