I agree, I wish it could have been around 2 minutes longer at least. When I heard it in the cut scene I thought maybe it was a partial clip of a full song, but apparently not. Still, I don't want to take anything away from the song because it is good despite how long it lasts.

This thread is killer, as IX has one of my favorite soundtracks...

IX's soundtrack has a blend of moving and powerful tracks mixed in with more ambient pieces.

Only three? Yikes, that'll be hard. IX has far and away one of the best soundtracks both in the series and of any game I've played.

I like your list a lot because that is pretty much how I feel about the soundtrack of the game. Melodies of Life was exceptionally well-done. I heard that Alexander O. Smith wrote the lyrics for it.
