So I've noticed that a few publishers are pushing out these things called "Season Passes" for their new big titles. Said Season Passes usually cost about 3/4 of the price of the game itself as a seperate investment and allow the purchaser access to all of the scheduled DLC for that game as an upfront investment that works out marginally cheaper than buying it all individually as and when it's released.
What's your take on these?

I applaud them for coming up with new marketing strategies but I'm not going to fall for this one.
