It ended as all historic battles of this nature do.
Well played, sir. :3

I'll start one or a few of my games shortly. I forget how many cards I have.
It's level 5, isn't it? There's a list in the triple triad database somewhere.
Oh look towns got reamed.
Level 3. See here: http://home.eyesonff.com/tripletriad.php?do=database
Also Fire Bracket now published: (SPOILER)
Top half seems a little stacked, but then again, it's an even playing field when it comes to the card level so who knows what will happen!
Huh what, no same/plus for the Firaga tournament? I was planning on mathing you all to death with low level cards.
Seriously guys, this game is incredibly boring without same and/or plus.
everything is wrapped in gray
i'm focusing on your image
can you hear me in the void?
Huh? I made sure every group has either same or plus. Obviously in the next round there will be pretty much every rule going (apart from Random!)
e: I had assumed Same Wall meant Same was added on top. Maybe it doesn't? Well, no matches in Moogle have been played yet as far as I know, so I've clarified that Same is also incldued.
Ugh, why the Open rule? Ruins the fun of surprises!
And no combo either? Oh well.
Also, the "Same Wall" rule is pretty much useless unless you play with A-cards actually. All it does is making the walls into "A-power", meaning you can "Same" with A-cards by having the A facing the wall. But it only works for Same, not plus. So it's a kinda silly rule, really.
I appreciate people don't like every single rule choice I made and the feedback has been noted. It is just for the opening round and the idea is to have a couple of rules here and there to start off with, and then put more in as we go on.
I can't please everyone with every rule but hey, a true champion is happy to step outside their comfort zone every once in a while and play with something they're not used to.
Ah well, I guess that's true enough. Though the Same-Wall rule is kinda pointless, or otherwise "favors only people with A-power cards even more", basically. Just so you know how the rule works.
Just challenged Rantz. I already have doubts about the cards I picked, but we'll see how things turn out.
Well I dug my own grave with that first one. :riiight:

Faris put up a good fight, but sadly the cards were not with her this game: game 1.
