Actually, if I'm not mistaken, at Sudden Death you end up with the same cards you end the last bout with. In a game where a lot of cards are flipped both ways, you may end up with pretty different decks than you started with.

This match is just a matter of one person making a mistake. Whoever cocks up first will lose. I got lucky in the first round, as I managed to drag myself out of the dump, but that won't happen again! Great fun, this!
