Is Tidus white?

This is probably a stupid question but this is something i've been wondering. Is Tidus white? I never noticed before but he is REALLY tan. In the FMVs he's usually the darkest of the party members (look at him on the airship scenes) and even in game screens hes just a tiny bit lighter than Wakka.I could show some pictures if you guys wanted. And also not to mention his dad Jecht is pretty dark too. So is he white? Probably a stupid question to ask but I was just wondering. And I don't mean for this thread to turn out racist lol.

Definitely in FMV cutscenes he appears to be a Tanned Asian. Then again, so do practically all of the characters in the FMVs.

Well his hair is bleached.... Dunno how he got blue eyes though when Jecht has red.

I assumed he was supposed to look like someone from Southern California, albeit done poorly.

Think about Tidus and his background in order to figure it out. He's a celebrity athlete whose training includes rigorous underwater breathing practice. He's going to see a lot of sunlight. That argument of course loses some strength when you look at Datto, but he is probably albino.

Blond hair and blue eyes is actually indicative of being a foreigner in anime. :3 So, I suppose this can explain his looks. Anyway.
