I'm also guessing it may be Aeris or Tifa's theme as the number 1 spot. I love both, but I think I prefer Tifa's a little bit more, but Aeris's is certainly the more iconic of the two.

I love the Distant Worlds version.

Aerith's theme is the obvious guess from FFVII, and I consider it one of the best themes in the series. One Winged Angel might be a dark horse, if that's considered Sephiroth's theme.

I went to a different, calming, peaceful world when I heared the Distant Worlds version. Terra was on the mind every second, and I think her theme is powerfully related to her character and story. I'm thinking about buying this song for future inspiration!

Hmm, I'm wondering what would be number one? I'm thinking from FFVII, Aerith's theme or Tifa's theme, or (getting my hopes up here), One-Winged-Angel. There's a lot of different versions from the themes I've mentioned. Can't wait to found out what's number one though!

I would think so too. Personally, Tifa's theme has more meaningful tones that describes her emotional state and caring character. I didn't listen too much of Aerith's theme, because everytime I watched the FMV of her death along with the song, I cried.

I won't be so much surprised if One-Winged-Angel appears as number one. My reason is the popularity of the song and numerous versions of it.

I have terra's theme as #1.

Out of the entire Final Fantasy VI soundtrack, no song evokes the desire to play the game again like Terra's theme. It makes me want to launch myself back into that beautiful world. Terra is such a beautiful character herself, and I think Uematsu really captured her essence in this song.

Ranking it so highly is a testament to the nature of this - and Cyan's - theme. I don't think it is clichéd by any stretch.

My guess for the number one spot? I'd say Aeris' theme. It has moved men to tears. My dark horse is Cid Highwind's theme though; there is something hauntingly beautiful about that scene in space. In any case, I look forward to seeing the number one spot. How exciting!

I think this is a great piece. I have fond memories going back to the start of the game going on that cold mechanized walk towards Narshe.

For some reason I really enjoyed hearing that you listened to the song for your whole lunch break. It confirms that you give these songs deep consideration and you're making a legitimate list of favorites.

If I were to guess what number one would be, I would say one winged angel. Arguably the most popular song in final fantasy history, it is often thought of when Sephiroth comes to mind. But from this list I've come to expect the unexpected, so we'll see! Regardless of what comes, I know that it will be a great selection.
