Default Emotions Not From Real Life

I want to know if things that aren't real really round up your heart and mind?

I don't know how many people remember me or my love for Final Fantasy 7, but...the essence of the game makes me cry. The music, the gameplay, the story, the childhood memories....honestly I tear up sometimes even when I'm listening to the World Map theme.

I want to know if any other EoFFer gets emotional from cartoons, shows, movies, or video games.

No time for "Dilly-Dallying" or "Shilly-Shallying."

The final episode of Cowboy Bebop, no matter how many times I watch it, gets me a little misty.

There are two moments in the anime Monster that do this to me as well. Once is the story arc after the library, which doesn't even have to kill anyone, yet after Grimmer delivers one line, my heart broke a little. Seriously one of the most depressing things in any form of media ever, trumped only by episode 72 of the same series. (Maybe 71, can't remember off the top of my head.)

If we are looking at games, the end of Lufia 2 is somewhat depressing. Two of your main character sacrifice themselves to save their home, leaving their child (Under a year old at the time) behind.

Xenosaga three had two deaths, both of which were depressing. One during the conclusion of the Yuriev story line, the other during the end.

    How to Train Your Dragon.
I swear to god I get some insane feels when I watch that film, from the music, from the setting and from Toothless and Hiccup.

    See you, Space Cowboy.

And too many to name. I have become emotionally weak in my old age.

Thanks for making me sad now. MGS is definitely a sombre series.

The Tenchu series had some pretty sad story elements. Especially 2 and 3.

The ending of Angel Beats... until they did that after-story thing then I got better.

Metal Gear gives you more of a Epic Sadness. Which makes the game epic.

The ending of Prison Break, the TV show, kind of gets me misty.

Calling to the Night is without a doubt one of my all-time favourite songs. It's just so... sad.

Great, this thread has just made me think back to all those sad moments in games. Thanks guys!
