I don't like a cluttered desktop. Having the New Folder is an issue, but I don't really have anywhere to organise it away nicely.
I think my desktop is a nice balance. Not too many icons, not too little. I do agree with the hate for cluttered desktops: My teachers in sixth form are TERRIBLE for this. I glance over to their computer screen, and it's like half, even more, of the desktop surface just filled... makes my very slight OCD go into a rage.
EXCITING STORY TIME: I've had the file since before it was A Thing I Did to store passwords in the browser. I never actually used the messenger, I just used to play Pool on Yahoo! a lot with various people from this website every once in a while. The file probably hasn't been opened in 2-3 years but it's just a tradition to have it there.
I feel like a complete nerd being the one of the few people who rolls with two monitors xD
