Cherries and Cherry Coke are the only cherry related thing I can deal with. Cherry flavoured things tend to be awful.

Shauna is correct. Artificial cherry is nasty. ESPECIALLY MARACHINO CHERRIES. Oh my god. After working at Sonic as a teenager and making smurfing cherry limeades, I cannot go within five feet of those smurfing things without wanting to vomit. christ.
that doesn't sound like a real cherry to meis a preserved, sweetened cherry, typically made from light-colored sweet cherries. In their modern form, the cherries are first preserved in a brine solution usually containing sulfur dioxide and calcium chloride to bleach the fruit, then soaked in a suspension of food coloring (common red food dye, FD&C Red 40), sugar syrup, and other components.
