I'm saying this from experience. Some people really are that bad.

Red Dead Redemption. I don't think there is a single duff voice in that game. Even the smurfing armadillos have great VAs.

Fallout 3. Simply because Liam Neeson has the best voice in the world.

Liam Neeson's five minutes of being Liam Neeson is, tragically - blasphemously - not enough to compensate for Moira Brown being... well, alive.

Final Fantasy XII is the best I've played, with Metal Gear Solid 3 being somewhere around there as well.

MGS1 is pretty notable for having so much voice acting at the time, in a title that was still game-heavy. It was also pretty great for being so pulpy.

Hey now, MGS2 had wonderful voice-acting too. John Cygan, Quinton Flynn, Phil LaMarr - they were all perfect. Fatman, Olga and Emma were pretty awesome as well.

Cygan should have been the voice of Old Big Boss, not Richard Doyle.

Also I refuse to acknowledge any voice of Ocelot other than Patrick Zimmerman. So MGS3 can't compare.

I hope you're not talking trout about the one good thing in that entire disaster of a game

The whole Metal Gear series has fantastic voice acting. Kris Zimmerman is a great director. For JRPGs, Persona 4 is definitely somewhere at the top, and I quite liked the English dub for Tales of the Abyss. And of course, Kingdom Hearts is consistently strong, and I thought the English dub of FFX really wasn't bad at all.

And when it comes to comedy, I don't know if anything can beat Kid Icarus: Uprising.

Yeah, gotta give it up for Kris Zimmerman, she knows how to pick 'em and how to direct. O. Smith has also done a great job as well, I got to hear some insights into how he directs at one of his PAX Panels.

I still like Richard Doyle as BB, because he was an older, tired BB ready to "put the gun down" and put the conflict to bed, whereas Cygan epitomized the fanatical idealism of a BB for his time. I would love to hear him portray BB during the rise of Solid Snake.
