Chess: Sport or not?

If playing frigging Starcraft is a sport these days, I guess chess can be too.

There is a very clear difference between physical sports, like football, and esports, like Starcraft. Nobody in either realm is going to calm, with any real seriousness, that Starcraft is akin to football or baseball.

Judging by your previous posts in this thread I think it is safe to say you cannot consider playing videogames to be a sport.
