Battle on the Big Bridge from FF V
The battle theme of Gogo from FFV is kind of annoying, so I think it is my least favourite.
Don't really have a least favourite, possibly X's...
Favourite though is either the Laguna battle theme of VIII or the boss battle theme of VIII.... oooh, and 'The Extreme' and 'Maybe I'm a Lion' from VIII

Maybe a tie between Man With the Machine Gun in VIII and FFVII's main battle theme. Feel My Blade from FFIX's play is something I could listen to all day.
Man with the Machine Gun seems to be staple favourite of a lot of VIII players. What did you peeps like about it?
How pacy it is, and how different it is from some of the other music. That and it's just downright catchy!
I'm probably going to bring alot of hate, but it is... okay. I don't really see the hype. It's okay, but I didn't really feel overwrought by it. I was playing it on Theatrhythm earlier this week, and it's one of my least favourite of the BMS's.

I'm a sucker for orchestral pieces. I absolutely loved the introduction! I love it in general.
Maybe it's just the use of synth in the original, or that it's incredibly techno. I don't know, I just know I love Distant Worlds.
I like the theme though because it represents Laguna a lot I think, it's very big, bold, and out there - much like he is, very egotistical at times - well, not egotistical but he has this attitude where you can tell he really wants greatness, but a really BIG kind of greatness. I think the song definitely screams that, it's cinematic and in your face, and while other songs in FFVIII can be like that too, MwtMG is special because it's just so... Laguna.

13, 8, 7, & 10 (i have played others but they aren't coming to me without having to look them up- so not gonna rank them)
If we're talking about normal battle themes then X wins hands down, it's not even a contest compared to the others. I can't really remember III's since I had the game on mute the majority of time that I played it, so it would probably tie up with IX for worst.
