How much have you found on your own and will find?

How much assistance do you need? They might hide something in the game so well, not even they could find it.

If I looked for everything I'd find 90% of it. I doubt there's someone who can find 100% of it without looking elsewhere. I could be wrong though if the game is easy enough.

I guess I could get 70-80% without guides myself. Depends on the game.

Ah. In that case, it really depends on the game and what I want to do with it. With brand new games I like to get 100%, but if I'm playing the old games (eg. FFI-XII) I don't, because I don't get a trophy for it. For some of the old games I've probably done 100% anyway.

As for how much help I need from guides - generally I need a decent amount if I want to 100% the game. Especially if I there are missable items or something (one of my massive pet peeves - missable items are a horrible, terrible thing).

I enjoy 100%-ing a game, so I tend to use guides to keep me right. I need them to get 100%. If I do things by myself, I really only get through the main story mode and that's it.

I played the original two Tomb Raider games recently and most of the time I got 0 secrets from the level. That tends to be my general experience with all games, unless it's plainly obvious that the secret area/quest exists. I am just bad at finding secret areas, or hidden quests or whatever.

I rarely 100% a game. I've had a PS3 for years and still don't have 1 plat trophy. If I truly enjoy a game I will 100% it but I haven't done that in at least 10 years.

I don't spend a lot of time 100%ing games, especially RPGs. I've just got too many in my backlog to play, so some sacrifices have to be made in order to ensure I have time to play them all!
