Let's check their last five threads (well, it's sorted by latest post, so it's the last five threads that have recent posts in them, I guess) and see how good they really are. No messing about! On with it!

1. Here we have a thread about games in cardboard boxes. I love games. I love cardboard boxes! This is a good start, really. I don't know if things will get better than cardboard boxes.
2. GTA V Gameplay Video? More gamin' stuff, definitely a theme going here. GTA V is alright, but I'm not sure it's something I expect out of one of the best thread starters... half mark stuff.
3. Final part of Phase Three testing for FFXIV. Now, I love FFXIV, so this is a definite biggie for me. Especially because it brings me the excellent news of progress towards Phase Four, when I can do stuff.
4. Jacket Potatoes! Moving out of the gaming theme here and into food. I like potatoes, they're pretty ballin'. But jacket potatoes are one of the less amazing forms of potatoes for me. I'll give it a half mark.
5. I'll skip the thread in the staff forum (and leave you all guessing about how incredible or boring it may be) and move on to The Last of Us, which I'm hearing is a great game and if I had more cash and time to burn, I'd be all over it. Still, it's a fairly ho-hum thread that doesn't inspire me. Half a mark.

1. cot - well, this is certainly creative, although there is a severe lack of any content besides a transparent gif. Very Dan, but not his best work. I'll give him a half mark for the amusement factor.
2. Vegetables - A thread in Quina's Kitchen about vegetables is certainly very run of the mill stuff. I suppose it was one of the earlier threads in the forum but I'll have to pass for this one.
3. He's not really Linvoy Primus, that's a sodding lie. Or at least I'm pretty sure it is... I liked this thread, because of the amusing posts it created. I'll give him a good mark for this one.
4. Doing God's work, son. Not only was he doing God's work in Japan, but he was doing it in EoFF with this thread. His opening post is of the nominees for Best Post, and deservingly so. Bonus point for getting that done!
5. And now he asks if we enjoy things that drive us insane. A rather odd question, I'll give him that. It's about Z-Rox, and I don't know the game and... [five minutes later] oh, crap, the speech. Okay. That's got to be a good sign.

Flying Mullet
1. This is a thread where Flying Mullet discusses his thread. Like with Dan, a half mark for amusement's sake.
2. Green Eggs and Ham... why is this not in Quina's Kitchen!? This thread is a bit of spam (or ham, or whatever). I do love Dr. Suess but... yeah.
3. What psyches you up for the day? A fairly original thread, shockingly, as I don't think I recall seening a thread like that before. The thread title definitely threw me as it was about being hot blooded. I'll give him a point despite that.
4. POLL TIME! I love polls! This is in the FF(I) forum and it asks how we feel the playable characters grew up and developed to the characters we play as in the game. A very interesting thread, I love it.
5. Okay, this one got a lot of love by people and it certainly got a few smiles outta me. The music behind the game of FFXV. Brilliantly done.
3.5/5 for Mulley! He's equal with Auly but is beat by Dan so far.

1. Your extended family. Well, this isn't a hugely original thread, but I do favour threads that allow us to get to know our fellow members. A half point.
2. Princess Bride Quotes are indeed fantastic quotes. It's a very quotable movie and really such quotes should come about more often. Buuuut it's still not really a discussion thread on any level, so only a half point.
3. We didn't start the forum. OH MY GOD WHY HAVE I NOT SEEN THIS BEFORE!? Double points for this one! I love parodies like this and I actually once considered making a parody of this very song, and now I don't have to. So yay! I can't wait to read it all when I'm done with this speech. xD
4. The Drunk Thread. Instant point, obviously.
5. Skipping the Events Committee thread since most people don't see that one, I'll go to whether or not FFXIV will have an RP server. This is a question thread but it also lead to some interesting perspective posts, so I'm going to give it a point again.
5/5 for Pike! Gonna be hard to top that, but as I've given out a couple of double points so far it's not impossible.

1. Sephex asks us of strange things we've come across lately. An okay thread. Half mark.
2. Doing something nice when you don't really want to is a tough thing on occasion, and it makes for a decent thread. Again a half mark for me.
3. Oooh, a rare Chrono Trigger thread. It's about hair colour, too, which is an original idea. Yeah, I'll give a point for this, this is good stuff.
4. Ahahaha, I love this next one about pillars and garbage cans if only for the image he put inside the spoiler tag. Fantastic. Definite point.
5. Poll! ...wait. It's about me. It's asking if I should change my name to Tifa's BoBs. How did I never see this thread? Was I really busy in February? What the hell. Okay, it's about amusing "I wish I could just change that name" stuff. I like this thread idea.

1. Should home makers get paid? An interesting thread that could cause some unique ideas to get put out there. Yeah, I like that idea for a thread. I'll give it a thumbs up.
2. Knowing your partner - I've seen a few threads about partners at EoFF lately, it seems the masses of EoFF-based relationships have allowed such threads to blossom. I'll give this a half mark, it's alright but as mentioned, there have been a few of those kind of threads around lately.
3. Do you feel abnormal? I know I do! All the time.
It's perfectly normal. I'll give this a mark because I like learning about my fellow EoFFers and reading some of the posts that it brought about wasn't bad.
4. Let's Play FFIV! Okay, that's a good thread, because there's never a bad time to do one of these. Pretty much an instant point there.
5. Steak. It's very easy to make threads about Steak. I'm gonna have to pass on giving out a mark for it. It probably doesn't help that I'm not a massive steak fan.

1. How important is EoFF in your life? That was a great thread and it is a great question. I love threads like this.
2. Will FFXV 'Phoenix Down' the FF franchise? A good question that has generated some good discussion. Another point for TB's.
3. Bullying is not cool but it's good that we can discuss it with each other and this thread is good for that, obviously.
4. Your EoFF Twin! I liked this thread a lot, too. Sam gets another mark and that's 4/4... can she make it 5/5 to equal Pike... or better?
5. FFVIII is objectively the worst Final Fantasy. X( NO SHE CAN NOT. Urgh, this thread... *storms off*

1. WK asks us what the hardest FF dungeon is, and it's certainly an original question as far as I can recall. Yeah, I like this well enough.
2. Do you think VI's large cast helps or hinders the game? Well, that's another unique question, and another point!
3. Squall: Great protagonist or snarky dip trout? Instant point for the title alone, but the thread was an interesting one, so it's earned.
4. FFIV Music Appreciation - We need more music appreciation around the FF forums and this is naturally one good way to get it going. I haven't played enough of IV to know just how amazing it is, but I respect the thread. Also, great to see four different threads in four different FF forums making up WK's 4/4 so far...
5. Least favourite job in the Tactics series! Another good FF discussion thread!
