Any TV show or movie that idolizes the media-stereotyped American High School experience. Buffy, The OC, Dawson's Creek, Glee, Saved by the Bell, 10 Things I Hate About You, Easy A, Mean Girls, Daria, Clone High, Boston Public, Ferris Bueller's Day Off, Charlie Harper, Freaks and Geeks - I don't even care, as long as there are jocks and nerds and dances and full length lockers and coaches who care too much, I will be morbidly fascinated. American High School seems very different from my high school experience after talking to people about it and I sometimes wonder how my life would have turned out if I had studied abroad. Well, I feel very sheepish now.
