My favorite thing about EoFF is finding people who share my interests and are willing to talk about them. Do you know how hard it is to find people willing to have philosophical discussions about a character's motivations? Or who are willing to analyze the world mechanics of a game's magic system? There are so many great discussions I never would have had without this forum.
