Hopefully these write-ups focus on the merits of each game and not on 'how stupid we are for putting in the top 20 because [writer] didn't vote for it'.

I will definitely be looking for the merits of each game over anything else. The writer may not agree that the game is any good, but I would be looking for reasons that the game deserves to be on the list (along with any other opinions).

I trust in your ability to be as unbiased as can be expected! From what I know about you, though, even if you were biased, it would probably be in a direction that I wouldn't recognize as biased anyway
