Pluto is my bitch. ... She owns.
I have always been a big fan of this series and was very excited to hear that the Uncut version was being released in the US. Of course I had to pick it up for Christmas. Really bummed that I have to wait until February for Part II of Season One but I know it will be well worth the wait. The best part is that I haven't seen the show in so long that it is almost like watching it for the first time again. Anyone else share a similar love for this series??

We have a significant love of this series here on EoFF. x}
I went ahead and merged your thread with the existing monster.
Thank you, and what a monster it is!
I definitely agree that it is the growing trend to get as much cash as possible, especially from a series of this caliber that they know has a huge following; people will spend the money. I was disappointed, however, because I really wanted to get the blu-ray edition but at almost seventy dollars for only part one I couldn't justify it. I also read a lot of negative reviews on the quality of the blu-ray release. I opted for the dvd release for a fraction of the price, which will inevitably add up as I will have to pick up the next releases.
It has been a real treat though because my friend that I am watching it with has never seen the Uncut version and she is loving it so much more with all of the content that wasn't in the English dub.

I heard the bluray quality vs the aired stuff is way different. I googled it cause I swear I saw pictures.
(SPOILER)
Like look at his eyes omg that's so drastically different
The left is the aired stuff. The right is the bluray
Not uncommon for BD to be beefed up and more impressive than the aired anime.
Argh what a super annoying place to end the episode.
Wow the BR looks significantly better. The animation quality doesn't seem that great when I started watching, and I also miss all the wacky expressions Usagi used to pull in the 90's version.
Today's episode may have been the best in the series so far.
I like Kung-Fu.
