When the Most Helpful Member award comes around, people invariably think of a staff member who responded to their problems with speed and accuracy. And that's great: it's nice to thank the hard working staff for the job that they do. But plenty of other members -- those "ordinary" folks -- lend a helping hand to those in need, in a variety of different ways. I think everybody nominated should be thanked for their selflessness and kindness. No matter the form it takes, the assistance these fine folk offer is appreciated, and this award is here to celebrate them even if we might forget to thank them at the time
I would love to regale you with tales of their fine deeds, but I think it's more appropriate to hear the stories straight from the horses mouth, as it were. So if you're particularly grateful to one of these members -- or another entirely! -- now is a great time to say why, or simply to say thanks aloud.
