The Australian 50c coins are also a spastic shape but I love 'em. Excellently weighted for use as a projectile, and they also do cool designs from time to time. Here is the standard though.



The $1 and 20c coins also seem to get cool designs from time to time as well. One of my friends is collecting as many of a specific type of 20c coin as he can. I think he has like thirty? Not even that much value but it's been fun stalking around for them. I stole one from some guy once because clearly he didn't need it as much as my buddy.

Unsurprisingly, I like the WWF one! I miss NZ money. US money is useless, I always open my wallet and think I have ~*loads of money*~ and then it ends up I have like...five dollars, because all the money looks the same.

After moving from to Canada from Merka, I'm annoyed that my wallet weighs 5x as much from having to carry dollar coins around in it.

£2 coins are quite cool. If you have one of the earlier ones (they're a relatively new coin) you can pop out the silver middle and have a cool ring!

Nah. You can't use it. But it is cool and you can show people how strong you are by popping it out with ur bare fingertips

Moving from Canada to the UK makes your wallet even heavier, believe it or not.

I'm not super fond of Swedish coins - I think they're rather bland and boring in comparison to other countries' coins.

It's happened more than once that I nerded out over cool coins and spent hours looking through different ones on wikipedia. Like look at these japanese tael sycees, are they not a thing of beauty?

I love the 50p coin. They made it 90% less dangerous by slimming it down a lot. I have an old 50p coin and it was faaaaaat.
