I did a lot of writing today
Got my cooling/heating unit fixed today. What makes me so happy about home repair? Well, when it broke I thought I was going to have to pay some sort of fee even though it is under warranty. In fact, when I first spoke to a repair man from the company that installed it (I got a new unit not long after I moved in my current condo in 2013). Turns out he was mistaken/misunderstood what I said or something. Another dude came over and fixed it, no problem!
Then my cat cuddled with me because I could tell she was happy to have the heat back on after a couple of days!
Link's bad. Fix it if you want monies.
Edit: never mind, I noticed this in your sig. $100 bucks to get Shiny's real-life autograph? Might wait a bit so I can give more. Also, who plays Nacho (I'm guessing that's who that is)? He looks familiar.

Congratulations! You two are going to be great parents!
Which brings me on to my question. Have we had a EoFF birth before?
Ahh- you beat me to it
Definately the boost we needed He/she looks like a little wriggler too!

Yeah, don't worry. We'll be streaming the birth live so everyone can see.
I do in fact believe we've had a few! I think this Kotaku article had a little more about that, if I'm remembering correctly http://kotaku.com/the-final-fantasy-...-peo-484432842
I have a couple of things that made me happy today!
First, I got my W-2 in from my day job (it's a tax form for you non-Americans; tells you how much you made that year.) It turns out that I made more than I thought I did, and I think that this, combined with my freelancing, should nudge me riiiight over the hill so I can sponsor Mister Adequate and get him a visa to move here (Granted, we still need the money for paperwork, but BABY STEPS!)
Second I want to say that I really enjoy being a member of this forum! I was just thinking earlier about how we all came together for Calliope recently and it was really neat to see. Keep it up EoFF, you're doing good things!
Seriously, it is pretty neat that we can come together as a family and support each other like that. This is not the first time eoff has come through with a charity for a member and it's really moving to see such a thing happen. (although I am certain many of Nicky's family and friends came through to pull in her goal but the message still stands)
Leftover pizza, videogames, Pike's news - today is good.
