I... don't even know if there are water parks in London. Also, why would you want to go to a water park in Britain?
A quick google search has shown me they exist. But they're all indoor. xD

I didn't realise the event was on Facebook (silly me), so I just added myself to it as I'll be there. I admire all the work being put into this by some of the members here so fair play. I have no problem chipping in whatever the costs are for the function room/bar room etc. etc., and donating money if funds are needed.
A question I need to ask. What is the expectation for the weekend? I understand we are doing the meet-up, and maybe going to a bar afterwards? Or is that the day after? Is there any sort of loose timetable anyone give me?

You know, there actually is an anime convention in the states held at a water park. So it's not unheard of.

That's me!
How are you spending £150 on food and drink on one day and only £18.50 another day including activities?
Just popping here to say that I probably won't be able to do this. I won't go into detail, but my family has been facing troubles recently and money from my end will be required. I apologize to those who may have been looking forward to the possibility of meeting me.
As always I'm still in, still willing to donate if needed, and still willing to help plan if needed (but am lazy so will only do so if prompted).
Hahahahaha that looks expensive as trout no way.
Anyway I found this place ages back - it's a church community hall, but we can take in our own alcohol and food and all sorts available up to 11pm for £50 per hour holding up to 75 people and honestly this could end up cheaper than getting a pub overall.

(or similar alternatives?)
11pm shutout tho, is this some teetotaller shindig??
