Well, gee, everyone's possible from that list. Loony BoB took over the site this year (or was it late last year? Regardless, since the last Ciddies anyway) so he automatically is a contender for Best Member. Meanwhile, Del Murder was a simply heroic administrator and so will get plenty of votes as well. Finally, Shorty has done a metric ton for the site, and is worthy of the title as well.
Ultimately, it's a very tight race, but I think BoB may just have what it takes, given his financial and time dedication to running this site.

If we assume Loony BoB wins in this prediction, we are left with Del Murder, Psychotic, Rantz, Scotty_ffgamer and Sephex. Del Murder is automatically a contender simply for being a Best Member candidate. Psychotic is also a possible winner for Best Male, but I wouldn't discount Scotty_ffgamer, he is a dark horse in this one.
Of course, both Best Male and Best Female are automatic, but anything's possible!

On the female side, we are left with Shorty, shion, Pike and Jinx. Again, Shorty is a contender, and for me, my predicted winner, but I would not discount shion at all: she has done loads for the site and worthy of her 'Site Contributor' title. Finally, Jinx and Pike are both solid bets and always seem to rank highly in Ciddies anyway.

Unfortunately, the Tech Admins probably won't win, as it is the Administrators and Developers that are more 'front of house'.
Having said that, I fully expect Cid to have a fair shout, out of legacy alone, and BoB again is very much in the running, for reasons obvious. The rest are harder to discern, but I think Psychotic is a vote favourite, and therefore a contender.

It's important to note that all Cid's Knights do a bang up job! Shauna is fairly active and tends to stick in people's minds, especially with her hilarious LP, so she's a contender, alongside Pike, for the same reasons. Again, Shorty is a contender for both her work, her commitment to EoFF, and also that EoEo thread she created recently.

Like the Cid's Knight one, this is probably more a result of presence and exposure: all editors do a good job regardless. For me, I think Aulayna is going to win this one, but I think Freya and Raistlin will get pretty close.

Best Recognised Member/Contributor
Most of the people here are pretty interesting contenders, but I think it's ultimately between Agent Proto, Del Murder and shion. Agent Proto is there primarily for the Art Showcase and generally being a great guy. Del Murder is here because of his work as an administrator and is supremely popular on the forums. Last but not least, shion's outstanding contributions to the site makes her, for me at least, my predicted winner.

Large categories make it harder to predict, especially with my poor perception skills.
Out of this list, the names that jump out at me is The White Wizard of Fynn, Lone Wolf Leonhart and Calliope. All three, and not even just those three, are possible to win this one. It's a bit of a stab, but I'll go for Fynn - bit biased, but

At the risk of being offensive, this is an easier prediction. I totally think AlaynaMae will win Best Newbie because of sheer presence and character. Having said that, ToriJ and Mr. Shauna will do well. In fact, this is a pretty strong list this time around.
As an aside, this is my favourite category in the Ciddies: so full of promise!

I love Pike's set, so it may be slightly biased but I think they may do well - I'm a fan of continuity and theme. Along these same lines, the effort gone into Parker's will not go unnoticed; I also like Aulayna's Disney sets. It's hard to tell who will go for what, really: Custom rank, Avatar and Signatures are very subjective votes.

I really like Blackmage_nuke's signature: it's very simple, yet very effective. On the other end of the scale, AlaynaMae's signature is incrediblely artsy. Again, I can't help but appreciate Parker's signature.
On balance, I think AlaynaMae's innate popularity and presence on the site, coupled with a very well made signature, will make her win this one.

I'm not much of an Artist, so I actually abstained from voting on this one: I simply wouldn't know what to go for.
I can just about predict though, and I think Agent Proto will win: he has an immense presence on the site anyway, which helps any award, and runs the Showcase, as well as doing his own artwork.
I honestly don't know who else could be a contender though

I'm still not terribly knowledgeable on this either, but I think Fynn is a contender, his writing is both good and constant. Pike, for obvious reasons, is up for this as well. Now, I've heard that AlaynaMae is a fantastic writer, which is probably true, but I've not seen any of her work yet, but she's up for contention.
Ultimately, I'd say that because everyone else has seen her work, and again, innate popularity, I would predict that AlaynaMae would win this.

Your prediction appeared to be riding on the fact that Matt 'is now' a member, although he has actually been around for three Ciddies including this one. xD Just thought this may affect your stance on that particular award.

I still stand by my prediction on Cutest Couple (though given you two have won that award before, I think AlaynaMae and Jiro have an even stronger chance of winning), though you're right, I completely assumed you had to be a member to be one half of Cutest Couple. The more you know!
