In the wake of the excellent experience that was Summer Ciddies 2014, along with Shorty’s thread about chatting with other members, I have come to realise that a lot of us don’t really chat all that often! Or if we do chat, it’s because there’s some big event happening and after it’s done we quietly go back to not communicating.

After this weekend’s big event that brought so many of us together, I thought we could try and keep the general camaraderie going, at least for a little bit! So, here it is, the grand revival of…

Better Know an EoFFer!

This has been done a few times before, and when I have taken part, I’ve enjoyed chatting to people I might not otherwise reach out to. Nothing like a bit of forced socialising, eh?

You’ll put your name forward and I’ll pair you up with someone else on the list, and you’ll go off and (hopefully) chat with them for a few days. What about? Whatever you want! It really is up to yourselves how much you chat with your partner. Just make at least a little bit of an effort, eh? I imagine the primary method of communication will be via Mognet, but you can use any way the two of you are comfortable with.

After 3-4 days, I’ll re-pair everyone up, and send out new names, and we’ll do the whole thing over again like that until people are bored with talking to people. If you want to drop out at any point, let me know and I can rejig things to accommodate.
