    Default Hyrule Warriors

At first I was a bit "eeeeeeh" about this game. Dynasty Warriors in Hyrule sounds cool, but I couldn't really see it having any substance.

But the more I've seen of it, the more it's grown on me.

Especially now I know I can play as Princess Zelda, I'm sold on it!

    Roll on September.

Matt loves LoZ. It's local multiplayer.

    ALSO SOLD (by proxy).

Yeah, I'm getting it. Comes out the same week as my birthday.

I saw a video where the guy played as Minda and used a super powered hookshot to bring down the Majora's Mask moon onto an enemy. That's freaking amazing.

Such a solid cast. And I won't get to play as any of them!

    Boco Hyrule Warriors

    DISCUSS THE THING!

Am I the only person unreasonably excited about this? I'd skip out on paying rent to get a wii-u to play this when it comes out (kiddingNOTKIDDING), For obvious reasons Midna will probably be my character of choice. 2nd choice, Maybe Zelda

All I can say is I'm more interested in this than I am an actual Zelda game. Which really isn't saying much. But I am really curious at least

I'll definitely be picking this one up. It looks like a lot of fun! I'll be getting an extra check this month and I think i'll be investing in the Wii U.

I'll admit that the announcement of Midna being playable was enough to perk my interest. Love that little sassy imp.

This is like making a Final Fantasy game about chocobo breeding. It's taking one of the least interesting parts of a good game and making it into its own game.

I don't know, I actually really liked Chocobo breeding in VII.

It looks good but it's going to be basically exactly the same as Dynasty Warriors or any of the other spin-offs (One Piece, Gundam).

Sure, it'll have Link and Zelda and Midna and maybe a few little gameplay tweaks, but overall, it's just going to be another Dynasty Warriors game.

I think a fast pace hack and slash action game is a far cry from "Hyrule Farm Simulator 2014".

They're going to be putting Agitha into the game. Now the options are open for any number of obscure off the wall characters. I personally want Malon/Cremia.

I thought the same thing, despite never playing DW. But the limited love I have for LoZ would probably provoke me to play this and I bet any fans who have never played DW would probably start after playing this game, myself included... if I ever buy a Wii U.
    Jack: How do you know?

Will: It's more of a feeling really.

Jack: Well, that's not scientific. Feeling isn't knowing. Feeling is believing. If you believe it, you can't know because there's no knowing what you believe. Then again, no one should believe what they know either. Once you know anything that anything becomes unbelievable if only by virtue of the fact you now... know it. You know?

    Will: No.

If Demolition Man were remade today

Huxley: What's wrong? You broke contact.
Spartan: Contact? I didn't even touch you.
Huxley: Don't you want to make love?
Spartan: Is that what you call this? Why don't we just do it the old-fashioned way?
    Huxley: NO!
    Spartan: Whoa! Okay, calm down.
Huxley: Don't tell me to calm down!
Spartan: What's gotten into you? 'Cause it sure as hell wasn't me.
Huxley: Physical relations in the way of intercourse are no longer acceptable John Spartan.
Spartan: What? Why the hell not?
Huxley: It's the law, John. And for your information, the very idea that you suggested it makes me feel personally violated.
Spartan: Wait a minute... violated? Huxley what the hell are you accusing me of here?
Huxley: You need to leave, John.
    Spartan: But Huxley.
    Huxley: Get out!
Moments later Spartan is arrested for "violating" Huxley.

By the way, that's called satire. Get over it.

My girlfriend's been keeping me up on Dynasty Warriors the last few years. But before that I had quit playing them back at #4, and then she got me back into #7. Which was pretty good, but mostly just nice to revisit such a mindlessly fun series. DW doesn't get much love by the broader audience. Either they've never been interested, or lost interest long ago like me. So this will probably revitalize the genre, either introduce new players, or re-introduce old ones, and they'll get all warm and fuzzy and nostalgic. Here's hoping anyway
