If you're looking for an MMO with an expansive economy then EVE is probably gonna be your best bet.

Second Life for actual people, EVE for economy.
Second Life is full of deviants and furries.
Altis Life for Arma 3 is amazing. You can be a cop, drug dealer, drug runner, rebel/terrorist, vigilante or just pick apples! You can buy a house you need a drivers license to drive and must obey speed limits! There are shipwrecks to search and you can always have fun getting kidnapped or hijacked as you deliver your load of apples or copper!
