I think Cloverfield was awesome. Both the Spanish and American versions of [REC] scared the crap out of me, so I guess they did their job. The Blair Witch Project scared the crap out of me only because I was like twelve and watched it alone and was on edge the whole time waiting for the witch to show up and really allowed myself to be affected by the tension-procuring effects. I think if I watched it now, though, I wouldn't have the patience for it because it's an overall pretty terrible movie. Paranormal Activity I was okay. It didn't really have much substance, and I guess people forgive that for how low the budget was, but I'm eh on the matter.

I don't particularly like or dislike found footage movies, I just want them to be done well. Cloverfield is the best one I've ever seen.
